A small-medium stegosaur from the Late Jurassic Shishugou formation of China, Jiangjunosaurus grew to an estimated adult length of around 5-6 meters (16-20 feet). Jiangjunosaurus is known from majority of the neck vertebrae as well as the scapula and mandible, which show a mix of basal and derived features; making Jiangjunosaurus' position in the stegosaur tree uncertain. Like other stegosaurs, it would have been a herbivore; specializing in the softer parts of plants.
